Do you feel that, as you’re getting older, your skin is losing its ‘youthful glow’? Perhaps you’re aware of more lines and hollows around your cheeks, eyes and mouth? Are the physical tell-tale signs of ageing knocking your confidence?
As we age, our skin loses volume because it produces less collagen and hyaluronic acid. The loss of elasticity and years of making facial expressions, as well as genetic and lifestyle factors, can all take their toll.
We are able to use dermal fillers for a wide range of facial aesthetic treatments. They can dramatically rejuvenate the appearance of your skin by filling out and smoothing away troublesome lines. They are also fantastic to adding definition to your lips.
How do fillers work?
Dermal fillers are typically made from a synthetic version of hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body. Using very fine needles, we are able to inject fillers into targeted areas of your face to fill in minor to moderate lines and wrinkles. Dermal Fillers are most effective when used on the lines around your eyes, nose and mouth.
Filler treatments have several benefits. You should see the changes to your appearance straight away. Each treatment is non-invasive with virtually no recovery time, so you shouldn’t need to take time of work or arrange any downtime.
Fillers are not permanent and will break down naturally over approximately four to six months, after which time you would need a top-up appointment. The good news is that dermal fillers have an excellent safety record; they’re free of animal products and require no test prior to treatment.
We can use dermal fillers to improve the appearance of smokers’ lines, lines around your nose and mouth, brow lines, cheek and chin augmentation, or to give you better defined and fuller lips.
If you are considering treatment with dermal fillers and would like to know more about your options, the best thing is to have a face-to-face conversation where you can ask lots of questions and discuss the problem areas you’d like to correct.

I was particularly impressed with the dental nurse who helped make the cleaning process very comfortable.
